<div itemprop="description">Surrounded by the love of her family, Freda passed away peacefully at Extendicare Nursing Home on February 25, 2015. She arrived in Canada April 4th, 1950 on the Empress of France and married Gerald on December 22, 1950 in London Ontario; spending 64 wonderful years together. She is the treasured Mum of Wendy and her husband Ron Sawchuk, Roger and his wife Jennifer Fink, Lesley and her husband Don Phillips and Jennifer and her husband Dan Brundritt. Loving Nan of Trevor Sawchuk, Jill-Ann and her husband Tony Webster, Jonathan Sawchuk and his fiancee Christa, Rachael Mather, Nicole Phillips, Christine and her husband Dwayne Bisson, James Neil and his wife Krista, and great grandchildren, Matthew Webster, Rialy, Kaleb and Liam Bisson, Braiden, Cheyenne and Jada Neil. Nan will also be lovingly remembered by Mike and Lacie Brundritt and their boys Kyle and Evan. Freda is predeceased by her parents Charles and Mary Burrows and her sister Marion. Freda will be sadly missed by her many lifelong friends in Canada and England. The family wishes to express their heart felt gratitude to the staff at Extendicare. <br /> <br />The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (East of Highbury) 519-452-3770 on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm. A complete funeral service will held at the same location on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 2 pm with a reception to follow and stories to share. Her cremated remains will be laid to rest at Siloam Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Freda, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.</div>
