Howard - Pastor Emeritus at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, London Ontario<br /><br />Peacefully at Victoria Hospital, London Ontario in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of 59 years to Ethel Kuhl. Loving father of Krista (Rev. Bruce Lucas), Kathy (Tim Choroba) of Michigan, Ken of London, Tim (Rachel) of Kanata, and Carl (Judy) of Kitchener. Proud Grandpa of Carl (Faith), John (Anna), Frank (Shelby) and Christian Lucas; Colton Choroba; Allison, James and Peter Kuhl; and Joshua Kuhl. Howard is the middle son born to Christian and Emma Kuhl (deceased) of Desboro. Predeceased by brothers Victor, Arnold and Eddie Kuhl. Survived by brothers Chester (Lillian), Harris (Hazel), Ralph (Helen) and Grant Kuhl. A dear uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Howard served as Pastor at Zion, Augsburg, Silver Lake, Palmer Rapids, Purdy, St. John's, Gasline and Snyder, St. Luke Ottawa and Good Shepherd London. Also served as Executive Director of Lutheran Bible Translators of Canada. <br /><br />The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at the Memorial Funeral Home, 1559 Fanshawe Park Road (East of Highbury) 519-452-3770. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 10:30 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 552 Fanshawe Park Road East. Visitors to be received at the Church from 9:30 to 10:30 am prior to the service. Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. A reception to be held at the Church following the interment. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Lutheran Bible Translators of Canada, or the Charity of your choice.</div>
