<div itemprop="description">Goddard, Leslie Thomas<br /><br />Of London, passed away peacefully on Thursday September 19, 2013 at University Hospital in his 87th year. Beloved husband of the late Nanette Goddard (2012). Loving father to Linda Goddard (Craig) (Huber) and Dean (Adrianne) Goddard both of London. Proud grandfather of David Craig (Rikki) of Halifax and Bennett Goddard of London. Devoted great grandfather of Devon James and Gabriel Craig of Halifax. Survived by his sister Margaret (Jim). Remembered by his brother-in-law Christopher (Vera) Watson of Ottawa and Elizabeth Wilson of London, England. Will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers John and Dennis Goddard, and his nephew, Leigh Goddard all of England. Also predeceased by his granddaughters, Heather and Hannah Goddard of London, Ontario. Leslie was a veteran of the British 8th Army, Middlesex Rifles 1944 - 1948. He was also a long term member of Local 593 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union of London, Ontario. <br /><br />A special thank you to the Chelsey Park Nursing Home Staff, and University Hospital Neuroscience and Palliative Care teams for their kindness and compassion. <br /><br />Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at 1 pm at Memorial Funeral Home 1559 Fanshawe Park Road East, London, Visitation one hour prior (12 - 1 pm).
