<div itemprop="description">Verreth, Marcel Louis<br /><br /><br /><br />Born in Berlaar, Belgium, passed away peacefully in his 84th year, on Monday October 6, 2014 in London, Ontario with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Emilia (nee De Leebeeck). Predeceased by his loving wife Gabrielle (nee Wouters 1985). He will be sadly missed by his children Maria Petrenko (Michael), Ed Verreth (Donna), Melinda Reynolds (Warren), Joanne McKenzie, Rodney Marynissen, Anita Spratt (Steve), and Shelley Kiertucki (Rick). Fond memories shared by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by sister, Maria OpDeBeeck and sister-in-law Alda Verreth. Predeceased by his brother Rene Verreth and his brother-in-law Rene OpDeBeeck. Dearly missed by his extended family in Canada and Belgium. <br /><br /><br /><br />Friends will be received by the family at Memorial Funeral Home (519-452-3770) 1559 Fanshawe Park Road E. London on Wednesday October 8, 2014 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Evening visitation at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm beginning with prayers.<br /><br /><br /><br />The Celebration of Marcel's life will be held at Christ the King University Parish (Windermere on the Mount), 1486 Richmond Street, London (Entrance off of Windermere Road) on Thursday October 9, 2014 at 11:00 am. Visitation from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Memorial Funeral Home. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, London to follow. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charity of your Choice.</div>
